- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆We came for an anniversary meal a few weeks back. Initially when we walked in we felt like we were in a canteen and not a micheline rated restaurant as the guide had suggested. We were told to arrive at 9 as this apparently was the second sitting. However when we did arrive at 9 we found the staff to be removing the diners from before us out of our seats. This made us feel instantly uncomfortable and under valued as customers. Whenn we did finally get a seat we were greeted by a bald headed male who did not seem to have a very good comprehension of English. He was rude and uncooperative. Which made our time there unpleasant. The food was unimaginative and beneath its rating. It was late and over priced. In my opinion, there are far more interesting and friendly restaurants to spend your money in within Hastings.By Admin, June 14, 2018
